We run our own design studios, production sites and 900 stores around Europe, and also provide 27 million customers with glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and hearing aid systems. Online or in a store? Our omnichannel business model lets the customer decide.
As a caring family business, we assume responsibility for our society: we sponsor thousands of sports clubs across Europe, are committed to the preservation of historical monuments and are involved in environment and nature protection. In addition, we plant a tree for every new employee.

All our employees earn 13 monthly salaries and are entitled to capital-building payments. They participate in our success story and receive discounted employee shares. You decide how you want to get to work. If you prefer, we will contribute to the cost of public transport. However, if you choose to drive to work, there is free parking available. We also make leasing a car or bike in return for a pay cut available for you.

Digitisation
We are committed to investing in digitisation and the continuous transformation of our business model. The future lies in the omnichannel business model, the perfect combination of personal service and digital technologies with which we enable the online sale of glasses in Fielmann quality. New technologies allow us to be flexible and agile in our response to customer wishes, offer a wide range of online shopping possibilities, control the flow of customers intelligently and calculate waiting times in a matter of seconds.
International expansion
We also see a great deal of potential in international expansion. We plan to sell one in four glasses in continental Europe in the long term. In our core markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg), the main focus is on organic growth and opening new stores, as well as expanding existing ones and moving to even more attractive locations. We are driving expansion in our growth markets of Italy and Poland even more rapidly, and plan to open many new stores in these countries. In addition, we are planning to enter additional markets either via organic growth or by acquiring other optical chains.
